9 Year Old humbles Holland's Got Talent
Just the other week we were exlaiming that SA's Got Talent has been dominated by the youth, but it seems we are not the only country to have had the young un's dominate our biggest talent show. Holland's got talent was rocked to its core by a petite, fragile 9 year old girl. Amira Willighagen, from the small dutch town of Nijimegen, took to the stage to audition for a spot in the Holland's Got Talent live shows. The young opera singer appeared nervous, fragile and scared as she stepped to the microphone and introduced herself.
However, what came next is something that nobody could have possibly expected. Her rendition of the popular Opera ballad, O Mio Babbino Caro, o immediately enchanted the judges, audience, and viewers from around the world. The power and technique that she manages to exude and execute are frightening, for one so young, and you can't help but feel that she has a bright future ahead of her, with or without the competition.
