Before entering Congratulations into Eurovision in 1968, Cliff Richard had already made a name for himself as one of Britain's biggest pre-Beatles pop stars. Since then he's sold a total of 260 million records worldwide, been honoured with a knighthood and won fans as far afield as Asia, Africa and Australasia.
