Newly-engaged star meets refugees in her role with the UN
Having just spent some time out with her family in the Galapagos Islands, actress Angelina Jolie has been visiting Colombian refugees in Ecuador as part of her work with United Nations.
Fresh from her recent engagement and free from make-up, Ange made her first trip as a special envoy for the UN since her appointment last month, having visited several countries over the past decade as a goodwill ambassador for the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees.
Scores of refugees have crossed the border into Ecuador to escape violence in their homeland, and the actress visited agricultural projects that have been designed by UNHCR to encourage self-sufficiency in their community.
